L&rsquo;architecture de cette fontaine est remarquable de part sa construction int\u00e9rieure qui renferme un couloir central, un r\u00e9seau souterrain de galeries vo\u00fbt\u00e9es et d&rsquo;une \u00ab\u00a0Malzach\u00a0\u00bb, vers 1600. Le mas de cette famille, \u00e0 300m, \u00e9tant aliment\u00e9 par cette fontaine est mentionn\u00e9 en 1396, mais serait certainement plus ancien. Une en bordure de piste, l&rsquo;autre en contrebas jaillit entre des rochers. Il pourrait correspondre au \u00ab\u00a0vivario\u00a0\u00bb mentionn\u00e9 en 972, lors d&rsquo;une donation. Le vivier est un bassin pour l&rsquo;\u00e9levage des poissons, comme le sugg\u00e8re ce document de 972. Cette activit\u00e9 \u00e9tait pratiqu\u00e9e \u00e0 Laroque au moyen \u00e2ge.
